The above rephrased slightly: "When the police want to become both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people."

I am not able to generate much enthusiasm for this weapon, and here’s why: if the US military develops an effective weapon, it is only a matter of time before that weapon is also allocated for use by federal, state, or local police agencies.

While it is true that there are “bad men” in America, we have arrived at a point in time when the definition of “bad man” only depends on how the federal and state governments choose to define it.  A bad man today could even be someone who worships God, or one who openly admits that he or she is a Christian, or anyone who refuses to bow down to a Mohammedan.  A bad man today is one who refuses to do what his government masters tell him that he or she must do. 

In my view, local law enforcement is already “militarized” enough. 

They have not hardened themselves in order to “take down” black thugs in Chicago, or Hispanic gangsters in Los Angeles.  No, they have developed militarized weapons and tactics in order to keep the rest of us in line.  Black and Hispanic thugs are only a convenient justification for spending so much money to purchase military hardware.  No, the real reason for acquiring all of this battlefield equipment is that they intend to suppress a free people; you know — as in 1984.  The Clive Bundy event tends to illustrate what happens whenever, or should ever, any American refuse to do what they are told to do and I will bet dollars to donuts that when the Bundy incident was over, someone sat down to include in their next budget, armored vehicles.  You know, for the next time someone out west talks back.  The only reason that event did not erupt into an all out shooting match was because the Bureau of Land Management saw, from TV cameras, that they were “out gunned.”  To my knowledge, no one has yet asked the question, “Why does the Bureau of Land Management have armed police?” 

My response to this video, and in particular this topic, reflects that I no longer trust the federal government.  I place no confidence in anyone, whether a badge-carrying brown shirt or a bureaucrat appointee to an Obama Death Panel, to keep their oath of office, to wit: to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.  We the people are not the enemy, except when the president stands up to explain away our legitimate concerns by referring to us as right-wing extremists, or gun-toting, bible carrying “simple folk.”  No, government employees at every level have sold us out in exchange for a nice income and a perfectly acceptable retirement program. 

This is a fact: DHS today more closely resembles the SS than any organization dedicated to a secure America.  I do not know why they need hardened vehicles; I do not know why sheriffs departments need armored tanks.  In my view, the right to bear arms is no longer a sufficient safeguard to a totalitarian government.  By acquiring such weapons as shown in this video, the federal government has already “disarmed” the American people.  Next up: robo-cops.

Give police war toys and they become hyper-violent war departments. The Albuquerque Police kill mentally ill people for fun these days... as do other departments as they work their badge-heavy, lethal tactics on women, children and 90 year-old senior citizens who may be armed with a knife or yard stick. Having carried a badge and weapon for my police and the sheriff's department for seven-plus years, I believe I'm entitled to say, "If a person in law enforcement can't disarm a majority of the women, children and 90 year-old senior citizens who may be armed with a knife or yard stick, that person really needs to get in another line of work." The Lamestream Media is always looking for a few good idiots; I think they'd fit right in.

Former U.S. Navy SEAL, (and Unite In Action Director), Benjamin Smith releases an open letter to the President -- calling Obama on the carpet once and for all.

President Barack Hussein Obama, 

STOP using the Navy SEALS as a campaign ploy, because with all due respect, (what little I have for you), you do NOT speak for me.

We SEALs do not even seek the credit that you claim for yourself. We do the tough jobs that no-one else can, it is hard to do and we never look for any accolades; that is why we, like all the other Special Operations Forces are termed “SILENT Professionals.” And it is certainly NOT in our job description to help your campaign and improve your polling numbers.
Your LACK of silence regarding the killing of Osama Bin Laden is all a sham designed to hide a weak un-American man desperate to claim the victories of others for his own re-election. 

You Sir are trying to take the credit for what the American People have achieved in killing Bin Laden. Your use of the SEALs’ accomplishment as part of a slanderous campaign ad is nothing less than despicable. I, as a former Navy SEAL do not accept your taking credit for Osama Bin Laden’s death. The American Military accomplished that feat. The American People killed Osama Bin Laden, NOT YOU, President Obama. 

Memos from then CIA Director Leon Panetta show that it was not you but rather three star Admiral and former Navy SEAL William McRaven who made the decision to get Bin Laden. But now that it is useful, you Mr. President continue to refer to the event as if it were YOU and you alone -- your great leadership -- which accomplished the worthy task of slaying one of America’s greatest enemies. When you addressed the country your language revealed your egotism -- “I directed”, “I Continued”, “MY Intelligence Community”, “MY national security team”, “I determined that I had enough....”, “My direction....” I, I, I, my, my, my -- words of a narcicist laying claim to a prize that is not his own.  

To make matters worse, Retired General Jack Keene recently informed the world that you knew of Osama Bin Laden’s location since 2010, yet you did nothing. Other reliable sources continue to report that not only did you attempt to stop or delay Bin Laden’s demise, you did not even leave the golf course for the situation room until 20 minutes before SEAL Team 6 took out Osama Bin Laden. Even the clothes you wore in the situation room betray this fact. This is a Commander in Chief? A man who takes credit for actions largely taken while he was out golfing? 

We men who have taken the military oath say ENOUGH. You do not speak for me, a former Navy SEAL, or any one of the league of men whom I have earned the right to be among. You are simply a man running for an office. Yet you behave as a glory hoarding ruler. You campaign to be our leader, yet in reality you wish to be our Master. 

The American people are the ones who got Bin Laden... You did not! We have fought wars and slugged it out with Vast Terror Organizations to get to the man you say YOU killed. The United States of American has won you a title sir and you have spent the last three years trying to beg, borrow and bow it all away. You just happened to be president of the USA when WE THE PEOPLE got Osama Bin Laden. We do not see you as heroic or stoic, we see you as the guy who let America Go -- fat and weak. That is your credit -- you bow to foreign leaders and pander to the press. You do not represent me as a Military Man. You do not represent me as a SEAL. You do not represent me as an AMERICAN! 

You do not speak for me or any American military man because though you may now be Commander in Chief, you are not the man to whom we can point our sons and say “This is the American dream, this is American Exceptionalism, this is what I wish for your future”, because you Sir are NONE of these things. 

You Sir are the antithesis of American Exceptionalism. Your idols are Saul Alinksi and Karl Marx and your revolutionary dreams and anti-American ideals poison your every policy. Your every action betrays the fact that in your soul you do not understand what it is to be an American, or even know what America truly is. Your agenda from the beginning as been to get rid of and kill everything that is and ever was American. You who so easily dismisses America’s greatness and bows to foreigners... YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR ME. YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR THE NAVY SEALS. YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR THE MILITARY MAN AND you SHALL NOT claim as your prize that which you have not earned. The Navy SEALS are NOT a campaign slogan to be bantered about for play. Nor are our accomplishments, including the demise of Osama Bin Laden, yours to claim -- especially as a narcissistic campaign ad. 

Go back from whence you came Sir, for not only do you not speak for me, you do not speak for AMERICA.

US Soldier Shoots Afgan Civilians.

A letter from a friend: 

After reading about the US Army staff sergeant who shot up Afghanistan civilians, I couldn’t help noticing an irony.

There's all this ya-ya that the soldier HAS TO BE brought to trial QUICKLY and then EXECUTE him. 

NEVER MIND that he was possibly suffering from a traumatic brain injury. NEVER MIND that he was a staff sergeant with 11 years of service in Iraq and Afghanistan and not some snuff Pfc that was hopped up on drugs with three months in country. NEVER MIND that he was on his fourth tour of combat duty. NEVER MIND that, in all likelihood, he was suffering from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) but had never been tested for it.

Similarly, another US soldier, Major Hasan (who shot up Fort Hood while screaming, "Allah Akbar!"*) STILL hasn't stood trial. The suits and white lab coats ARE STILL debating whether Hasan is possibly insane -- even with the CLEAR EVIDENCE regarding his REAL motive: KILL as many INFIDELS as possible. 

So, we have a guy in a war zone who cracks, and he's GOT TO BE executed IMMEDIATELY. 

But, another US soldier, who happens to be a Muslim psychiatrist -- a doctor who was stateside in a nice, safe office all day -- murders 13 and wounds 29 of our own guys.  Hasan's defense counsel is arguing that he suffered PTSD -- from LISTENING to REAL SOLDIERS who had ACTUALLY EXPERIENCED REAL COMBAT.

My aching ass! 

Two and a half years later, they still haven't tried the sonofabitch.

Putin Wins Six More Years At Kremlin!

Yep! A crawl just popped up on my computer announcing Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir's ascension to president. So, now, his placeholder for the past four years can go back to the salt mines from whence he came.  

And, like, I wouldn't have bet the farm that the (rigged?) voting would have been any different?

Let's keep this in mind: 

Vladimir Putin spent 17 years with the Soviet KGB. He didn’t get to where he is today by helping little old ladies across the street. On Putin’s watch, during his KGB days and after, a LOT of people are spending their time in Siberia (if they’re lucky) or have come up dead or missing. Communism in Russia may be history; but the gosbezopasnost (the Kremlin’s political police) has taken over the Kremlin itself, and a gang of over 6,000 former KGB officers are now running the country. I guess you know what that means.

During a press interview with President Putin, a reporter referred to his career as an ex KGB agent, Putin laughed and said there is no such a thing as an ex KGB, “Once KGB always KGB.” (Something about that quote rings a bell with me.) 

There are a WHOLE LOT of ‘Vladimir Putins’ out there. I just use him as an example because there are others that come from different races, different cultures and different countries and they all have one objective in mind -- bootheels on the neck of America.

This is life, folks, and only the strong survive. Or, only the strong survive along with the well-heeled... as long as the money holds out. The ONLY thing that I’ve known that ever insured peace was having superior fire-power. 

Look at the pictures and compare the men (well, at least one of them is a man) and tell me which one is going to win in a hand-to-hand combat situation.

Fort Hood Massacre Was ‘Workplace Violence.’

Just about the time when I think I’ve heard it all from the Chief Idiot of the United States... 

Anything that I could possibly add would be anticlimactic. 

The Fort Hood massacre that took place on November 5, 2009 at Fort Hood, the most populous U.S. military installation in the world, located just outside Killeen, Texas, was the worst shooting ever to take place on an American military base. In the course of the shooting, Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army Major serving as a psychiatrist and a Muslim, killed 13 people, one of whom was pregnant, and wounded 29 others. 

Hasan is an American-born Muslim most likely radicalized by other American-born Muslims. Internal Army reports indicate officers within the Army had discussed what they characterized as Hasan’s tendencies toward radical Islam since 2005. Additionally, investigations before and after the shooting discovered e-mail communications between Hasan and Yemen-based cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who quickly declared Hasan a hero, as “fighting against the U.S. army is an Islamic duty.” 

According to U.S. government officials Anwar al-Awlaki was a senior talent recruiter and motivator who was involved with planning operations for the Islamist militant group al-Qaeda. Al-Awlaki was considered to be such a threat that the U.S. deployed unmanned aircraft in Yemen to search for and kill him. He was finally killed in a drone attack in Yemen on September 30, 2011. 

Now we learn that the Defense Department has reclassified the Fort Hood massacre as “workplace violence.” We know that Maj. Hassan​ shouted “Allahu Akbar” (Arabic for “God is Great”) after firing a total of 214 rounds at his fellow soldiers. When the shooting ended, he was still carrying 177 rounds of ammunition in his pockets, contained in both 20- and 30-round magazines. 

The act was premeditated. A senior law enforcement official said that a review of Hasan’s computer and his multiple e-mail accounts revealed that he visited websites espousing radical Islamist ideas.

Whose Side Is He On?

I gotta admit straight out -- I robbed this. Well... sort of.

After editing for spelling, punctuation, grammatical errors, run on sentences, incomplete thoughts and a WHOLE LOT of rewrites... I may as well have written it.

The headline was even wrong; ‘WHOSE,’ not ‘WHO’S.’

And, of course, I HAVE TO ADD the cartoons!

Politically, Obama Obimbo* is about as coordinated as a monkey humping a football covered in Crisco.

On one hand, you’ve got these Wall Street protests that Obama Obimbo* supports because he’s anti-capitalist, anti-American and anti-Big Business.

Then, you’ve got Obama Obimbo* supporting the unions who called for violence against the Tea Party. 

Then, AGAIN, you’ve got Obama Obimbo* claiming he’s on the side of the little guy; that’s what all of his political rhetoric has been about. Never mind that a bunch of idiots voted for him AFTER he said that his plan would produce “no more” than 8% unemployment (translation: “I’m going to create unemployment.”)

You’ve ALSO got the Obama Obimbo* who wants collection agencies to be able to call cell phones to force people to pay their debts because that is what would help the economy. 

Who’s Whose* side is this guy on?  I thought Big Business was the problem with them taking money from the little guy! 

I thought we were supposed to get everything for free. Lets recap: you won’t have to worry about gas in your car or paying your house mortgage -- probably because you won’t have a car or a house to mortgage. So, here you go...

Memorials Set As Former Marine Gets Medal Of Honor.

I’ll make this short and sweet.

President Barack Obama will bestow the medal at a White House ceremony. The two have also met privately, having a beer on a patio outside the Oval Office on Wednesday. 

“Over the weekend, the President’s staff called Meyer in preparation for Thursday’s Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House. Meyer asked the staffer if he could have a beer with the President. POTUS invited Dakota to come by the White House this afternoon,” spokesman Jay Carney tweeted.

This is the second Medal of Honor to be bestowed on members of our fighting forces during the Obimbo administration regime. While I can’t speak for Sgt. Giunta, USA, who was the first recipient -- evidently, I can’t speak for Sgt. Dakota Meyer, USMC, either. Sgt. Meyer ASKED to have a beer with the Commander in Chief Idiot in Chief.

I’ve ALWAYS maintained that, were I still in uniform, I would follow orders -- without question -- from my lowest superior NCO up to the Commandant of the Marine Corps. The line would stop with CiC IiC Obimbo. If Obimbo were to ask to shake my hand, I would look him square in the eyes, spit in his face, do a smart about-face and march myself to the nearest brig to do my 20 years at hard labor... and enjoy every minute of it knowing that I got to do it! 

Too bad the Medal of Honor had to be desecrated by -- NOT my CiC IiC -- Obamanure. Frankly, had I been Sgt. Giunta or Sgt. Meyer, I would have asked if the gardener -- or someone on the cleaning staff -- be allowed to do me the honors. 

If not, then just mail it to me.

What WERE They Thinking?!

I’ve grown really tired of all the finger pointing and the “he said -- she said” about the budget crisis (I have a short attention span). I’m taking a break from that pile of doo and, today, I’m taking on the Department of Defense.


I was skimming the latest news articles and part of a title caught my eye: “A missile failure could result from defective products from China.”


Missile failure? Defective Products? China? What tha’...?!


I came up during the time when Communism was more than a dirty word. I enlisted in the Marine Corps when America was just beginning to take an active part in Viet Nam. I enlisted with one intention and that intention was to kill as many Communist as I could. I swore an oath on it, it was my job and I had a license to do it. So far, no one has been able to give me a straight answer as to why I had that license to kill Communist on foreign shores, but I can’t do it on my home shores. That oath I took remains with me today-- to defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC.


I don’t care if you think MY thinking is misguided, obsolete or ignorant. I HATE Communism! Socialism, Marxism, Communism and, now, Islam -- they’re all one of the same to me. In a VA group I used to go to, the counselor asked if anyone in the group could define the difference between Socialism and Communism. No one lifted their hand. I took the question. My reply was, “Socialism is just a pantywaist version of Communism.” I was told that pretty well summed it up and we went on to another topic.


Today, America buys from China, owes a national debt to China and our military is using Communist Chinese parts in our defense weapons? Where is the logical thinking in this?!

U.S. military could be shut down by secret ‘back door’.

A missile failure could result from defective products from China. 

Sources have confirmed that the U.S. Department of Defense over recent months purchased 59,000 microchips to use in Navy equipment that control everything from missiles to transponders, according to report in Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin. 

But all of the chips turned out to be cheap knock-offs from China, and they ultimately were not installed, according to sources. 

Besides being subject to failure, the chips also were designed with a “back door” which would have allowed the chip, and the device it controlled, to be shut down remotely at any time, sources report. Had the flaw not been detected, the chips could have shut down U.S. warships, aircraft, advanced weapons systems and encoded transponders that distinguish friendly aircraft from hostile attackers.

 The revelation is only the latest in a series of incidents that have sent off alarm bells in the Pentagon. China previously was found to have been actively pursuing placing back doors in computer equipment. Several cases have been uncovered in which Internet-capable devices have had Chinese chips in them which also provided a back door into the networks the devices were supposed to protect. 

The devices were attached not only to industrial and commercial networks but also to networks that were defined as part of the nation’s “critical infrastructure.” 

The problem is not unique to the U.S. A Feb. 3, 2010, G2 Bulletin article outlined how Britain’s MI5 accused cyber intelligence agents in China of attacking U.K. businesses with the goal of gaining commercial intelligence. 

A leaked MI5 document said undercover intelligence officers from the People’s Liberation Army and the Ministry of Public Security approached U.K. businessmen at trade fairs and exhibitions with the offers of cameras and memory sticks. 

But the “gifts” were found to contain back doors that provide the Chinese with remote access to the business computers. 

In February 2005 the U.S. Department of Defense issued a report titled, “High Performance Microchip Supply.” There, the Defense Science Board Task Force stated: “It is clear from recent trends in the microelectronics industry that a significant migration of critical microelectronics manufacturing from the United States to other foreign countries has and will continue to occur. 

The rate of this technology migration is alarming because of the strategic significance this technology has on the U.S. economy and the ability of the United States to maintain a technological advantage in the Department of Defense (DoD), government, commercial and industrial sectors. Our greatest concern lies in microelectronics supplies for defense, national infrastructure and intelligence applications.” 

The report goes on to state that there is increasing pressure on microchip or “integrated circuit” (IC) suppliers to outsource their manufacturing operations offshore to lower cost. The report concludes that this move is “contrary to the best interests of the Department of Defense.” The report states that these foreign chips open the possibility for backdoors or “Trojan horses” to be embedded into the microchips used for military applications. 

From a security standpoint, it would be much safer for the military to use commercial off the shelf components for their applications, since the supplier would not know the ultimate purchaser. 

But this is not practical because of the requirements the military places on the purchasing process. The requirements are so stringent that the microchips have very few commercial applications. 

Many times a supplier can look at the purchase order and determine that the chips will be used for military applications.

Okay... so, with all this in mind, it’s still better to buy from Communist China than a U.S. commercial supplier? FLASH TO THE DoD: Change the wording and/or the “stringent requirements” and take the MYSTERY out of it. But, then, you wouldn’t be doing your job, would you? Without tons of paperwork and countless man-hours of shuffling paper and taking a simple job and making a monument to yourselves, you wouldn’t be doing your job... and YOU might be standing in the unemployment line.

The Defense Department report concludes that their suppliers face a major microchip supply problem that “threatens the security and integrity of classified and sensitive circuit design information … and the correct functioning of electronic systems.”
