I am not able to generate much enthusiasm for this weapon, and here’s why: if the US military develops an effective weapon, it is only a matter of time before that weapon is also allocated for use by federal, state, or local police agencies.

While it is true that there are “bad men” in America, we have arrived at a point in time when the definition of “bad man” only depends on how the federal and state governments choose to define it.  A bad man today could even be someone who worships God, or one who openly admits that he or she is a Christian, or anyone who refuses to bow down to a Mohammedan.  A bad man today is one who refuses to do what his government masters tell him that he or she must do. 

In my view, local law enforcement is already “militarized” enough. 

They have not hardened themselves in order to “take down” black thugs in Chicago, or Hispanic gangsters in Los Angeles.  No, they have developed militarized weapons and tactics in order to keep the rest of us in line.  Black and Hispanic thugs are only a convenient justification for spending so much money to purchase military hardware.  No, the real reason for acquiring all of this battlefield equipment is that they intend to suppress a free people; you know — as in 1984.  The Clive Bundy event tends to illustrate what happens whenever, or should ever, any American refuse to do what they are told to do and I will bet dollars to donuts that when the Bundy incident was over, someone sat down to include in their next budget, armored vehicles.  You know, for the next time someone out west talks back.  The only reason that event did not erupt into an all out shooting match was because the Bureau of Land Management saw, from TV cameras, that they were “out gunned.”  To my knowledge, no one has yet asked the question, “Why does the Bureau of Land Management have armed police?” 

My response to this video, and in particular this topic, reflects that I no longer trust the federal government.  I place no confidence in anyone, whether a badge-carrying brown shirt or a bureaucrat appointee to an Obama Death Panel, to keep their oath of office, to wit: to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.  We the people are not the enemy, except when the president stands up to explain away our legitimate concerns by referring to us as right-wing extremists, or gun-toting, bible carrying “simple folk.”  No, government employees at every level have sold us out in exchange for a nice income and a perfectly acceptable retirement program. 

This is a fact: DHS today more closely resembles the SS than any organization dedicated to a secure America.  I do not know why they need hardened vehicles; I do not know why sheriffs departments need armored tanks.  In my view, the right to bear arms is no longer a sufficient safeguard to a totalitarian government.  By acquiring such weapons as shown in this video, the federal government has already “disarmed” the American people.  Next up: robo-cops.

Give police war toys and they become hyper-violent war departments. The Albuquerque Police kill mentally ill people for fun these days... as do other departments as they work their badge-heavy, lethal tactics on women, children and 90 year-old senior citizens who may be armed with a knife or yard stick. Having carried a badge and weapon for my police and the sheriff's department for seven-plus years, I believe I'm entitled to say, "If a person in law enforcement can't disarm a majority of the women, children and 90 year-old senior citizens who may be armed with a knife or yard stick, that person really needs to get in another line of work." The Lamestream Media is always looking for a few good idiots; I think they'd fit right in.

Take guns away from law abiding citizens in order to ‘protect’ them from those who don’t obey the laws.

Take religion away from everyone to ‘protect’ those who don’t believe anything. 

Take babies and suck them into a vacuum or bash their spinal cords after they are born to ‘protect’ those who think they have a right to do that. 

Take the civilization-perpetuating reverence of ‘marriage’ away from those who revere it in order to ‘protect’ those who’d be extinct without it. 

Take away the dignity of the majority of Americans who travel to ‘protect’ those, and only those, who should be profiled at the airports … like there’s been a slew of Chinese, Italian, and Jewish people blowing up planes and buildings … or, to prevent potential highjackings plotted by senior citizens who strategize about those things on the shuffleboard courts at The Villages.

And now (see link below*), His Azz Hole-iness Mayor Blooming-idiot-berg, is saying we’ll have to reinterpret the Constitution so that we have less freedom IN FAVOR OF, basically, those who want to destroy us. Would someone PLEASE shut him the F up.

My first thought was that my Spam filter was busted. I opened my e-mail and saw this from Bathhouse Barry.  Yeah, right, YOU really want to be sending ME your gun-banning crap, Down Low! 

Then, I saw the fine print at the bottom.

So that's how I got on their mailing list.  

I will have to admit that I did sign a FEW petitions... thinking, "For what good it'll do."

Now I guess I'll be cursed, forever more, with all of the crud that comes out of the Chicago Mafia's headquarters.

Bathhouse Barry* Artist Equates Gun Owners With Satan.

*The original title was ‘Obama Artist...’ but I fixed it for him.

Shepard Fairey, the graphic artist synonymous with the Obama “CHANGE” and “HOPE” images has taken aim at the Second Amendment by releasing new works that equate gun owners with Satan.

Shepard Fairey.  For some reason those two names fit this ‘individual' -- probably more than we’ll ever know.  From now on I'll use 'Fairy' as his name; imagine a lot of pixie dust surrounding it, too.

Fairey has released a new print titled “God Saves and Satan Invests” which depicts an AR15 rifle with the words “America ­-- The Land Where God Saves and Satan Invests In Assault Weapons And High Capacity Magazines”.

For the record, I’m no expert on rifles or pistols.  I just know how to tear 'em down, clean 'em up, put 'em back together and fire the hell out of 'em.  But, for the life of me, I’ve NEVER seen a weapon like the one that Fairy’s got depicted. The front sight vaguely looks like an AR but that cone-shaped flash suppressor is really reaching out there.  It was used on the DP28 or DPM and the M3 grease gun and on some other WWII weapons. Also, it’s been my experience that an AK magazine just won’t work in an AR.

Another 'For The Record,' the AR-15 rifle has a cyclic fire rate of 800 rounds per minute. However, this is only in fully automatic fire mode and THAT makes it an 'assault' rifle.  When firing a semi-automatic (which makes it NOT an 'assault' rifle,) you can put 45-60 rounds downrange.  I might add, if you're going to fire 800 rounds per minute -- SUSTAINED fire -- in the fully automatic mode, you might want to bring plenty of spare barrels with you because you're gonna burn them up really, REALLY FAST.    

The print also includes an image of a white Dove [sic] in the heavens, with a target emblazoned on it, with the now familiar “Obey” tag written above it -- Fairey’s attempt to associate all gun owners with organised [sic] religion -- specifically Christianity.

It’s not all that difficult to notice the resemblance of what Down Low Barry has been putting out; they all look like the propaganda posters of  the Nazi socialist era.  All that screaming Soviet red -- and you've ALWAYS got to work in that ‘OBEY,’ don’t you, Herr Hitler?  Notice that word 'OBEY' at the top-center even has the shape of Russian Cyrillic characters.  

It's obvious that Fairydust was a star pupil in the Joseph Goebbels School of Journalism and Graphic Design.

You wanna know what a TRUE 'assault weapon' will do?  Well, here's what I think about your Tinker Bell pixie dust poster, Fairy -- at full automatic:

Fairyboy, I’d like to see those statistics.  Giving you the benefit of the doubt, if we do live in the safest time in human history, then why all the hysterics to ban guns? 

“I get the 2nd Amendment, but the right to bear arms should NOT BE UNCONDITIONAL.” Fairey states, claiming that it was never the intention of the Founding Fathers to have an armed population, and saying that the Founders could not have predicted technology to fire dozens of rounds in seconds.

Sorry again, Fairy-oop-poop-a-doo, the ‘Founding Fathers’ EXACT intention of the 2nd Amendment was to have an armed population.  It’s not about hunting or even home defense; it was written into the Constitution to guarantee against tyranny.  Why do you think we’re here in the United States instead of somewhere else, you idiot?  Do you really believe that our founding fathers didn’t have the common sense not to anticipate that, at some point in time, citizens would have to deal with a tyrannical government?  The founding fathers’ intent was that the citizen would be armed with whatever arms were afforded the federal government... if not better!  And that ain't even  happening, which REALLY pisses me off.

Yeah, as a matter of fact, I do think I should have as many RPGs as I want, a  couple of M1 Abrams tanks in my driveway and I damned sure ought to have an 'assault' rifle!

You know what?  Fairy will probably make a killing (no pun intended) with his piece of crap.  Sheeple will be lining up like lambs to the slaughter (pun intended) to have one hanging over their free, wide-screen TV.  Of course the sheeple won’t be forking over the dinero for them; the government will issue them with the food stamps.

Okay... this is where you've gotta read real careful: 

Company officials pointed out to commission investigators threatening to charge the company with discrimination that they couldn’t hire felons even if they wanted to, because federal law prohibits federal firearms licensees from hiring felons.
