Obamohammad’s State of the Union Hits 14-Year Low In Viewership.
According to Tony Lee at BreitBart, “President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address Tuesday night was the least watched of his presidency and had the lowest viewership of any State of the Union in the last fourteen years.”
Kevin McCullough headlines his Fox News article as, "Obama’s Sorry State of the Union Speech."
McCullough goes on to say, “It was messy, incoherent, disorganized, and most regrettably defiant.
“Which I guess when you think of it, defines the state of our union pretty well.”
There’s even proof that the 2014 State of the Union was just a rerun of previous speeches.
Which is exactly why I didn’t watch it. I’m proud to say that I haven’t watched any of Obamohammad’s spiels since that first time. Actually, on the first one, I changed the channel about a quarter the way into it. I now set the channel on all the TVs to some kind of white noise show. None of my sets are gonna get counted as being tuned into Barry’s obnoxious blathering!
The total time of Obamohammad's incoherency and blatant lies was 1:05:07. You can watch it below in eight seconds.

Ear-POPPING MELTDOWN! FOX ANCHOR ERUPTS ON AIR [Ooh-Rah!]
Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly erupted on the air with fierce anger Tuesday night, calling his network colleague Alan Colmes a liar during a heated discussion over alleged budget cuts by Barack Obama.
O’Reilly launched into a tirade on Colmes for failing to specify any program President Obama would be willing to cut, other than entitlement programs such Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. Read more and video here.
ALAN COLMES: I disagree with what he is being said here. $2.50 in tax cuts for every dollar in tax increases.
BILL O’REILLY: That’s not specific.
COLMES: Yes, he has. He has offered cuts in Medicare. He has offered cuts to entitlements.
O’REILLY: That’s not specific. He has to say here are the programs that are going to go down. Here is how we are going to reform Medicare and Social Security. And the man refuses to do it.
COLMES: That’s not true.
O’REILLY: Hold it, hold it, because now I’m getting teed off at you. Give me one damn program he said he’d cut? One?
COLMES: He has cut entitlements.
O’REILLY: Not entitlements. One program.
COLMES: Why do you want to yell at me for?
O’REILLY: Bull—-! Because you are lying! You are lying!
COLMES: Don’t call me a liar. Don’t you sit there and call me a liar.
O’REILLY: You’re lying – here is the proof.
COLMES: You don’t like the president. You don’t like what he is doing. Don’t sit there and call me a liar.
O’REILLY: I am.
COLMES: I’m not lying. We can have a disagreement without you calling me a liar. That’s not necessary.
O’REILLY: You are lying here.
COLMES: We are not lying.
O’REILLY: Where is the proof?
COLMES: There is difference between having a disagreement and calling me a liar – that’s a personal attack.
O’REILLY: This is why I’m calling you a liar: Give me one program he would cut.
COLMES: He would cut Medicare, and Medicaid. He has offered cuts to those programs.
O’REILLY: That’s not a specific program.
COLMES: You asked me a program. Those are programs.
After a commercial break, O’Reilly mentioned in the next segment that “I was probably too rough on Alan.”Naww, Bill... you should have come over the desk at him, snatched him up by the stacking swivel and choked the living shit out of him!

Hanging Out With DingleBarry!
He was ambushed... slammed dunked... interrogated... and burned at the stake by folks that aren’t on Social Welfare, taking free phones and/or carting off big screen TVs. They were mad as hell (in a socially acceptable and civilized manner -- dammit) over DingleBarry’s administration’s attacks on the Second Amendment, a complete lack of transparency, the minimum wage hike... you name it. Oh yeah... and the possibility of killing American citizens on U.S. shores with drones!
You know the questions... the questions that the lame stream media won’t ask.
I’ll give real good odds that he’s not going to be doing another one of these things real soon.
Or, you can watch my take on it and it’ll only cost you seven minutes.

Obama Scorched By Ordinary Americans.
Americans used President Obama’s Feb. 14 “Fireside Hangout” to blast him for his gun-control proposal, his plan to hike the federal minimum wage to $9 an hour and his use of drones to assassinate U.S. citizens.
For 45 minutes, participants interrogated the president about his policies and statements in Tuesday’s State of the Union address. You can read it here.If you missed Down Low Bathhouse Barry’s 14 Feb. ‘Fireside Hangout’ (something like FDR’s ‘Fireside Chats’ -- who would have thought?) you can watch it here... ALL 47 MINUTES OF IT.

Obama’s Cabinet Does The Hokey Pokey.
The following is Lurita Doan’s column that was taken from today’s townhall.com. It’s in its entirety (with links, as it appeared) because it was just TOO GOOD to take bits and pieces from. The original didn’t have the cartoons. I added them to make it too, TOO GOOD.
Forget about Dancing with the Stars. If Americans want to see some really fancy footwork, just watch the senior members of the Obama Administration as they do the hokey pokey. The President is, perhaps, the greatest dancer of all as he constantly talks about his policy goals, waves it all about, only to take it all back as he turns himself around.
In May 2009, Secretary Chu put his hands all over the Solyndra loan which he said would be a model for what the government creation of “green” jobs. Chu attended the ground breaking with President Obama and cited Solyndra’s example in his speeches. Yet, now, with Solyndra’s mind-boggling profligacy, squandering $523 million in taxpayer money in less than two years and filing for bankruptcy protection, both Chu and Obama are eager to take their hands off as they shake them all about, blaming anyone other than themselves for the poor loan decision and the complete lack of oversight into the expenditure of the funds.
And, it seems Cabinet Secretary Steven Chu has cravenly decided to utilize a time-tested delaying tactic of sending a lower-ranking staffer, Jonathan Silver, the DoE loan guarantee officer to testify as he turns himself around.
Both the White House and the Department of Energy officials are being disingenuous and possibly duplicitous in their adamant denials of wrongdoing. For those who understand the process of approving, and scheduling presidential appearances, there can be no doubt that the White House was closely involved in the Solyndra deal-making.
Each week, executive branch agencies send a report to the White House informing the president (in absentia) of current and upcoming agency actions of note. Each week, executive branch agencies also notify the White House of potential activities at which they are requesting the president’s attendance, usually an agency event that highlights some aspect of the president’s management agenda, and usually providing the White House with several months’ advance notice.
Presidential visits are highly coveted events, highly desired by cabinet heads, because the president’s visit raises the profile of the agency and provides much coveted photo-ops for agency employees.
There is usually a good deal of back and forth discussions between Executive agency staffers, the Executive Agency White House Liaison and White House staffers regarding the type of event, the timing of the event and the substance of the event to ensure it warrants an appearance by the president.
All the facts in the president’s speech are reviewed (for example, the details verifying a loan mentioned in the speech) and signed off on by as many as 15 agency officials and even folks from OMB before the event is entered formally as a part of the president’s calendar. So, the likelihood that neither the White House, nor the leaders of DoE, were in any way knowledgeable or involved in the Solyndra loan deal is highly unlikely.
Sadly, Solyndra is but a recent example of Obama’s Cabinet officials’ skill with doing the hokey pokey. The Justice Department’s disastrous Operation Fast & Furious reveals a similar scenario -- an ill conceived, poorly executed idea that was hastily put into operation. And yet, after providing some 1200 assault weapons to Mexican cartels, which are now showing up in crimes and murders of American citizens, Americans once again see the Obama Administration shaking their hands and turning themselves about as they run for cover.
Then, there is the case of the SEC. What does it mean when Americans see Obama’s executive appointees at the SEC all hiring lawyers to represent themselves as evidence of gross conflicts of interest starts to pile up?
Of course, no one is quite as skilled at the hokey pokey as President Obama. A year ago, Obama promised support for Palestinian statehood, no doubt hoping he could take it back before anyone caught wise that he was just posturing. But predictably, the Palestinians did not fully understand Obama was just doing part of his dance, and we now face a diplomatic crisis that is costing American prestige.
President Obama has saved his best dance moves for the economic crisis. Obama tells us he is all about jobs, jobs, jobs, but then turns himself about trying to explain why his Administration has prevented Boeing from expanding operations in South Carolina, costing thousands of jobs in the process. Obama urges quick Senate approval of a set of Free Trade Agreements which everyone agrees would be beneficial, but, Obama never quite tells Americans that he will not approve any of the agreements unless the Congress approves yet another bailout of Unions.
Other favorite Obama hokey pokey moves include his claim that the stimulus would create millions of jobs and shrink unemployment to 8%. So too, was the claim that Obamacare would allow everyone to keep the healthcare insurance they currently have. Those claims were quickly pulled back and the Administration worked hard at obscuring the facts as they, once again, turned themselves about.
Perhaps, my personal favorite hokey pokey move, is watching Obama talk about the need for “a balanced plan” that calls for “shared sacrifice” and a need for millionaires and billionaires to “pay their fair share”. This move calls for lots [of] unusually skillful gyrations as Obama tells us that his bash-the-rich strategy is not really a craven example of class warfare. Obama also maintains that massive deficits requiring $100 billion dollar a month in loans can all be sustained indefinitely, so there really is no need to cut the expansive entitlement spending. In fact, Obama tells us entitlements can, and should, be expanded.
I usually end my posts with, “So much incompetency, so little time.” I’m going to add ‘corruption’ to it from now on... the two words, incompetency and corruption, define Obimbo and his ‘administration’ SO WELL!
President Obama puts his Left hand in, then takes his Left hand out; he does the hokey pokey and he twists himself around, and that’s what it’s all about!

On Day 938 of his presidency, Obama says he’ll have a jobs plan in a month or so
OK, let’s see if we can sort out this White House jobs package hocus-pocus because President Obama is counting on us not to. And no one wants to fail to disappoint him:
Last winter in his State of the Union address, oblivious to the gathering storm over the nation’s national debt, the Democrat proposed massive new spending and loan programs -- he calls it investments -- to extend unemployment benefits and payroll tax cuts and to rebuild the nation’s roads, bridges and other union-made infrastructure kinds of stuff. He had a plan he would share soon.
When in trouble, give a speech. Say, early September. Before all this Rick Perry 40% of the nation’s jobs come from Texas stuff really gets going.
The president has mentioned the plan often, despite widespread skepticism due to the lack of stimulus that came from spending $787 billion in stimulus money that was for sure going to hold national unemployment at 8%, but it’s now 9.1%.
So, perhaps another such plan might work.
On his 938th day in office President Obama also said he would soon have a completed jobs plan. Maybe early fall, something like that. And he complained, “We could do even more if Congress is willing to get in the game.”
Tomorrow with all this heavy work in his rear-view mirror, the president is scheduled to join his family on Martha’s Vineyard for a nine-day vacation.

White House claims Obama’s bus tour is presidential, so taxpayers will fund it
Somehow, from somewhere, a bright political strategist on the president’s reelection team has come up with the idea of sending Obama out in a bus on Midwestern roads in two weeks, just like real Americans, or real Americans who can still afford a short summer road trip.
The spectacle of a passing politician’s bus and waving citizens provides grand visuals for TV during the usually slow summer news days. The president of the United States might even happen upon a curbside lemonade stand operated by surprised children who deserve the kind of future he has in mind for all Americans. And more of that.
Not so good visuals of the trailing motorcade of press buses, Secret Service SUVs, SWAT team vans and communications cars. Nor the angry motorists stalled nearby because the highway and every on- and off-ramp (that) has been closed by uniformed motorcyclists... .
Anyway, because the bus trip is so clearly presidential, America’s taxpayers will be footing the bill for the non-political, three-day Obama odyssey through politically important Midwestern battleground states.
After all, taxpayers covered all the costs of Sarah Palin’s successful One Nation bus tour back in June. Oh, wait. No, they didn’t. Her political action committee paid for that.

Obama v2.0: Now with More Government, More Red Tape, More Entitlements
As the Trillion Dollar Man rides down the road in his million dollar bus passing by signs that say “Your Stimulus Dollars at Work,” the outlines of Obama’s presidential reelection campaign have already become apparent.
Spend. More. Money.
Practically every big government program that Obama has tried has failed to deliver the results that the president’s economic team projected.
As Obama said: Those shovel ready projects included in the stimulus spending binge weren’t quite as shovel ready as they thought. Or as his critics have said: If they were shovel ready, it was only because they were so rotten they needed to be buried quickly.
Taking their cues from the mid-term election that saw Obama’s team lose control of the House on dissatisfaction with the growth of government, they slimmed down, huddled up and came out with a new plan.
Ready for it?
More government, bigger spending, more entitlements.
Ta da!
Let’s see: We started out with the government doing 50 percent of the mortgages and that failed; so we tried letting them do 95 percent of the mortgages and that’s failed.
It’s kind of like when Joseph Stalin stopped the Kulaks from competing with the collective farms because the Kulaks’ higher production made the collectives look bad.
So there was an epic famine. The death of 7,000,000 people is a small price for farm fresh produce grown on a collectivized farm.
Yum.
Peas anyone?

Obama: I have it tougher than Abe Lincoln
President Barack Obama said yesterday in Decorah, Iowa, that he absorbs more political criticism than Abraham Lincoln, the assassinated 16th U.S. president, attracted from his Civil War critics.
The comment came during a question-and-answer session where one invited audience member asked Obama how he deals with his congressional critics in the GOP. “The Congress doesn’t seem to be a good partner. You said so yourself, they’re more interested in seeing you lose than [seeing] the country win,” the questioner lamented.
“Democracy is always a messy business in a big country like this,” Obama responded. “When you listen to what the federalists said about the anti-federalists … those guys were tough. Lincoln, they used to talk about him almost as bad as they talk about me.”
The comparison “is hysterical … that is really laughable in many respects,” said Alvin Felzenberg, the author of a book on American presidents. “You couldn’t print things today they said about Lincoln.” Felzenberg teaches at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and was the chief spokesman for the 9/11 Commission.
Even though he was repeatedly snubbed and insulted by both Democrats and Republicans, “Lincoln had this amazing capacity for open-mindedness,” Foner explained. “He wanted criticism. He invited critics into the White House … I don’t think Obama does.”

Obozo Signs The Bill.
Okay. So... the Boehner Bill passed the House and Senate and Obozo is going to sign it.
Big Deal on the Boehner Bill. All that happened is... pretty much nothing.
The Tea Party Congressmen (known as “terrorists”) wanted deeper cuts. The left wing (known as... NUTS) wanted to raise taxes -- like this is something new?
The lame stream media is describing this as some kind of win for the Tea Party. I don’t see how it’s much of a win when 22 Republican lawmakers in the house voted against the GOP leadership and their bill. They don’t feel this is a win and neither do I. The bill doesn’t get anywhere near to where it should be to be able to solve our debt problems. They also feel that things aren’t going to get any better because of this bill. I don’t either.
There’s only one real thing that I see that came out of this; Boehner’s leadership weathered a storm. He did what he could and didn’t back down to Obimbo’s bluff (I still laugh about THAT one! First rule, Obimbo -- when you’re bluffing, don’t tell ‘em you’re bluffing!)
Here are the details of the bill, simply put -- in case you’re even interested:
Basically, the bill is nothing but a Mexican standoff. Sooner or later, we’re going to have to face the fact that the only solution is to stop spending and reduce our debt. This bill is really nothing but a Band-Aid.
One way to cut government spending is to cut the government payroll. Get people back to REAL work -- with REAL jobs -- in REAL businesses. Watch this and see what I mean:
Hopefully, a month from now, the American people won’t remember all the finger pointing and all the yah-yah that went with all this posturing.
Hopefully, all that will be remembered is Oba-Mao’s lack of leadership on this issue... and all the other issues, since he’s been crowned.

Here are the details of the bill, simply put -- in case you’re even interested:
- After an initial $400 billion increase in the debt ceiling, another $500 billion would be authorized under the bill around late September unless Congress passes a resolution of disapproval.
- Spending cuts of $917 billion are also required over 10 years, although many of these are cuts to planned spending. For example, the bill’s spending caps would cut just $7 billion in 2012 compared to 2011, and would require spending just $3 billion in 2013 compared with 2011.
- After that, a 12-member congressional committee would be required to find up to $1.5 trillion in new cuts over 10 years. If they succeed, another $1.5 trillion increase in the debt ceiling would be allowed. If they fail, a minimum $1.2 trillion increase in the debt ceiling is permitted, and forced cuts matching that amount would be made.
Basically, the bill is nothing but a Mexican standoff. Sooner or later, we’re going to have to face the fact that the only solution is to stop spending and reduce our debt. This bill is really nothing but a Band-Aid.

Not That I’m Really Worried... It’s Just ANOTHER Obimoism.
On second thought... OBIMBOISM! Maybe I SHOULD BE worried.
Congressman: Only ‘theft’ would detour Social Security checks.
Did Barack Obama have one of those unwelcome political moments when the harsh reality of truth accidentally spills out when he said he couldn’t assure Social Security recipients that their checks would be mailed in August unless he got the debt ceiling increase he wanted?
Possibly.
Because, the facts are that although there is a specific Social Security trust fund in which Social Security taxes are tabulated, and the government reports there is a $2.7 trillion balance in that account, the taxes go into and the retirement and disability checks come straight out of the nation’s general fund.
That circumstance has prompted U.S. Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., to propose, along with half a dozen other House members, legislation that would make certain the payments to senior citizens are made in a timely manner.
The president’s comment came during an appearance recently on CBS.
“I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3rd,” he warned. “There may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it.”
Posey insisted, however, that if the checks are not mailed, it will only be because Obama wants them withheld.
“The president is essentially saying he could take incoming Social Security payroll taxes and spend them elsewhere,” Posey said. “That money belongs to the nation’s retired seniors who have spent their entire lives working and paying into the system.
“The federal government is obligated to make these payments and anything short of doing so should be considered theft,” he said.
His Social Security Check Guarantee Act, H.R. 2581, removes the payment of Social Security benefits from the debt ceiling limit discussion by requiring that checks be sent to seniors even if the federal government reaches the statutory debt limit.
“The federal government takes in enough Social Security payroll taxes each month to pay the lion’s share of Social Security benefits,” Posey said.
His office has posted a chart showing categories of mandatory and discretionary spending:
The chart shows that in the Fiscal Year 2010 spending plan of $3.5 trillion, Social Security will take up $701 billion, Medicare $519 billion, Medicaid $273 billion, interest on debt $202 billion and other mandatory spending $433 billion. But there are hundreds of billions of dollars in spending that is optional.
The issue of defense spending, Social Security and interest payments on the nation’s debt have been debated intensely in recent days. Obama has demanded that Congress increase the nation’s debt limit so he can borrow and spend more money.
But a number of analysts have said it is not necessary to borrow more to meet current obligations. They point out that the nation could not, however, pay for the many programs that Obama proposes.
Jacob Lew, the director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, said Social Security should be of no impact on the debt ceiling issue, either.
“Social Security benefits are entirely self-financing,” he said. “They are paid for with payroll taxes collected from workers and their employers throughout their careers. These taxes are placed in a trust fund dedicated to paying benefits owed to current and future beneficiaries.”
He said the trust fund is in surplus now and growing. He said it would continue to accrue interest and grow until 2025 and will “have adequate resources to pay full benefits for the next 26 years.”Then we get the opposing view... which is scary. You have to remember, we’re talking about Obimbo and his goons. They’ve run over the Constitution so many times that there ought to be lengthy prison sentences for A LOT of people. So, with Obimbo’s administration, what it should be and what it is, are two different things.
A congressional committee, however, documents that the Social Security trust fund is an accounting procedure.
“The trust fund neither receives payments from taxpayers nor makes payments to beneficiaries. It is simply an accounting device used to record transactions made on behalf of Social Security by the government,” said the Joint Economic Committee’s explanation.
“When individuals pay Social Security payroll taxes, the money goes into the general fund of the Treasury along with all of the other taxes collected by the government. When individuals receive Social Security benefits, the money comes out of the general fund of the Treasury just like any other government expenditure.
“The government records these transactions by increasing or decreasing the balance in the trust fund.”
“The balance is comprised of federal debt, or more precisely, special issue non-marketable U.S. government debt securities. When payroll taxes exceed benefits, Social Security is said to ‘invest’ its surplus in these securities and the balance goes up. Conversely, when benefits exceed payroll taxes, Social Security is said to ‘redeem’ its investments in these securities to cover the deficit and the balance goes down.”
Commentator Charles Krauthammer wrote in the Washington Post that the reality is the Social Security trust fund contains nothing.
“Here’s why. When your FICA tax is taken out of your paycheck, it does not get squirreled away in some lockbox in West Virginia where it’s kept until you and your contemporaries retire. Most goes out immediately to pay current retirees, and the rest (say, $100) goes to the U.S. Treasury -- and is spent. On roads, bridges, national defense, public television, whatever -- spent, gone.”Then we get the opposing-opposing view:
A spokesman for Posey, George Cecala, said seniors should not feel threatened.
“You can’t not pay Social Security benefits with Social Security money and pay something else with that money. “That money belongs to the seniors. It’s their money.”
According to a Social Security Administration snapshot, there are some 60 million receiving benefits from Social Security in retirement and disability income. The average monthly benefit is $1,079.
The Joint Economic Committee report also confirmed the “arcane” budgetary treatment of Social Security simply includes fallacies.
“Social Security has its own ‘trust fund;’ Social Security receipts and outlays are labeled ‘off-budget;’ and the Social Security Administration is an ‘Independent Agency.’ Despite all of these special features, Social Security is still a government program. When Social Security has a cash-flow surplus, Social Security taxes are available to pay for other programs. When Social Security has a cash-flow deficit, the government must collect other non-Social Security taxes or borrow from the public to pay for Social Security benefits,” the report said.
“When people talk about the ‘trillions’ in the trust fund, they are knowingly or unknowingly referring to the balance of unredeemed non-marketable U.S. government debt securities, not a pile of unspent cash.”
Joseph Farah, CEO of WND and the organizer of the grass-roots “No More Red Ink” campaign, which is lobbying to simply cut off the government’s credit card, said the House Republicans have it within their control to stop the borrowing and force the federal government to reduce spending.
“The only reason to raise the debt limit is to continue business as usual in Washington,” said Farah. “There is no necessity to do it. The prudent and responsible move would be to run the government with the trillions in revenues it takes in. No individual, no business and no state or local government can just keep borrowing to justify uncontrolled spending. It’s time the federal government starts operating like the rest of us do.”
In recent weeks, a number of high-profile commentators also have come out in favor of calling a halt to the borrowing -- estimated at some $5 trillion since Obama took office.
Radio host Michael Savage blasted House Republicans for even considering allowing the Obama administration to pile up more debt.
“Where did all the ‘fiscal conservatives’ go?” Savage asked in a recent e-mail to WND. “Of course we should not extend the debt limit! What kind of insanity is this?
“If a family is broke and dependent on loans,” Savage continued, “what bank would extend a new credit line until the family 1) sold assets; 2) worked out a repayment plan for existing loans? We will become a bigger ‘banana republic,’ like Argentina 20 years ago, if we increase our national debt.”
The one thing I do know is, with the Obimbo Mafia in control, we WILL BE a ‘banana republic’ in a VERY SHORT TIME.
And, if it’s ‘theft’ that would detour Social Security checks, that’s exactly what I’m afraid of... look who we’re talking about!

Last night he gave yet another televised address on the debt ceiling, breaking into “MasterChef” and “The Bachelorette” and other shows people actually wanted to watch, saying nothing he hasn’t said countless times before -- corporate jets, “balanced” approach, it’s Bush’s fault, why can’t those stupid Republicans be bipartisan like me, everything’s going to fall apart if I don’t get what I want, yadda yadda yadda -- and clearly getting frustrated that it isn’t working.
There’s more (if you’re even interested) at the link in Treacher’s article.

Being president is hard, you guys! Sometimes, bad people won't do what you say just because you say so. And the best way to show how presidential you are is to take your ball and go home. Be the adult in the room by stomping out of it.
TheDC's Amanda Carey reports: "President Barack Obama walked out of debt limit negotiations Wednesday. One Republican aide said the president quickly ended what was described as a 'tense' meeting with congressional leaders about a deal to raise the debt ceiling.
Wednesday's meeting came to a quick halt when Speaker of the House John Boehner responded negatively to spending cuts offered by the White House and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor offered to support two separate debt ceiling votes... 'The Speaker challenged the President to offer real spending cuts,' said the aide. 'He said the gimmicks and accounting tricks that Washington has used for decades are not applicable here. When White House officials attempted to justify budgetary gimmicks, the speaker said pointedly, 'We're not doing that anymore.'"
So Obama stormed out. He's gone from "first-class temperament" to first-class temper tantrums. From another source:
“He shoved back and said ‘I’ll see you tomorrow’ and walked out,” House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) told reporters in the Capitol after the meeting.Back to Treacher's article:
According to The Hill, Obama told Cantor, "Don't call my bluff." Which tells us two things: One, Obama's bluffing. Two, he stinks at it. Note to President Genius: If you're bluffing, try not to let on that you're bluffing. That's why it's called bluffing.
Hope that helps, champ!
So much incompetency... so little time
to write about it all.

Obimbo Tells Us We Need To “Eat Our Peas.”
Yeah, and I’m telling Obimbo that he can eat... Okay, you catch my drift.
Since Obimbo’s so enchanted with the wreckage of our nation and the widespread unemployment that we have, he should join the unemployed. And that goes for everyone that we sent up to DC to end this madness -- the ones that are now playing the “DC Game”. They were all big talkers until they got up there. Now, all I hear is, “Well, it’s politics and you have to play the game.” I’m saying that, NO, we DON’T have to play the "game”.
“Politics” is EXACTLY why we tried cleaning house (and did a pretty good job of it.) We told them, “NO COMPROMISE.”
Now, we’ve got Boehner saying, essentially, that we need to pass a law so that we can find out what’s in it -- where have I heard THAT before? -- and McConnell coming up with a COMPROMISE that will give it all back to Obimbo. Every time we’ve done it, the DemocRATS renege and raise taxes as soon as they get what they want.
As far as I’m concerned, Boehner, McConnell, Kyl, Cantor, McCarthy and Hensarling -- just for starters-- have sold us down the river. We sent them up there to cut $100 BILLION from the federal budget and DE FUND Obamacare THIS YEAR. What we got was a revised figure of $61 BILLION -- and it was astounding at how quickly THAT figure was arrived at. Then they COMPROMISED with Obimbo and his snake, the snarky little Reid, and came back to us, all proud and chest puffing, telling us they SUCCEEDED in getting something like $38 BILLION in cuts.
Then, for the REST of the story, Obamacare is STILL funded (and that’s according to the Congressional Budget Office,) and the “cuts”WEREN'T $38 BILLION. The “cuts” come back as $352 MILLION. That was YESTERDAY (not literally.) There’s no telling what’s happening TODAY.
The only saving grace to all this is, Nancy Pelosi isn't still Speaker of the House.
Obimo’s got a list of items that are not up for discussion on how to cut the spending. EVERY ONE OF THEM is EXACTLY WHERE the spending needs to be cut. If he doesn’t want to sign off on what WE send to him... fine. We can play the game for the next 18 months.
I’m getting really disenchanted with the Republicans. They’re starting to sound a lot like DemocRATS. I guess that’s why they’re called RINOs
I want real cuts (that could start in the White House and work itself down) and a path to a balanced budget. No more gimmicks and politics-as-usual.
And, NO COMPROMISE!
