If you haven’t gotten a stomach full of the Obimbo brothers by now, Maggie has an excellent follow-up story about the ties both of them have to (guess what?!) the Moslem Brotherhood and the billions of U.S. dollars being used in the hoped-for purchase of a 40% portion Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula for the Moslem Brotherhood’s sister group, Hamas.

The only GOP support Chucky was going to get was from Cochran, Shelby and Johanns since they wussed out and announced earlier that they were going to support him.  That fourth vote came from Rand Paul. 

Why?!

I had some hope for Rand Paul.  Until someone can come up with a REAL GOOD explanation about why he caved, I don't know that I have that much goody-goody feelings for him right now.

That's two down and one to go.  We've got John 'Commie' Kerry, who is stupid; Chuck 'I've Been Drunk Since 1968' Hagel, who is dangerous and the only other one left is John 'The Stooge for Jihad' Brennan to head the CIA, who is both stupid AND dangerous.

The nomination of Chuck 'I've Been Drunk Since 1968' Hagel sends the worst possible signal of weakness and uncertainty to our enemies as well as our allies... if we have any allies left.

• If Chucky is confirmed, countries like Iran and Syria are going to consider going to war against Israel. Want to guess who is going to be drawn into this conflict? My question  would be, “With the LACK of 'leadership' we have, I've gotta wonder which side we'd be on?!”
• Hagel has to be the most controversial of Our Dear Leader’s second-term Cabinet nominees. 
• As Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said earlier this month, Hagel is Obimbo’s “in-your-face” pick.
• Chucky supports downsizing the U.S. nuclear arsenal and says that the Pentagon budget is “bloated”... his words, not mine.

And just for grins:

• From Jan 1997 to Dec 2008, Chucky missed 99 of 3,894 roll call votes, which is 2.5%. This is worse than the median of 2.2% among the lifetime records of senators serving in Dec 2008.

Putin Wins Six More Years At Kremlin!

Yep! A crawl just popped up on my computer announcing Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir's ascension to president. So, now, his placeholder for the past four years can go back to the salt mines from whence he came.  

And, like, I wouldn't have bet the farm that the (rigged?) voting would have been any different?

Let's keep this in mind: 

Vladimir Putin spent 17 years with the Soviet KGB. He didn’t get to where he is today by helping little old ladies across the street. On Putin’s watch, during his KGB days and after, a LOT of people are spending their time in Siberia (if they’re lucky) or have come up dead or missing. Communism in Russia may be history; but the gosbezopasnost (the Kremlin’s political police) has taken over the Kremlin itself, and a gang of over 6,000 former KGB officers are now running the country. I guess you know what that means.

During a press interview with President Putin, a reporter referred to his career as an ex KGB agent, Putin laughed and said there is no such a thing as an ex KGB, “Once KGB always KGB.” (Something about that quote rings a bell with me.) 

There are a WHOLE LOT of ‘Vladimir Putins’ out there. I just use him as an example because there are others that come from different races, different cultures and different countries and they all have one objective in mind -- bootheels on the neck of America.

This is life, folks, and only the strong survive. Or, only the strong survive along with the well-heeled... as long as the money holds out. The ONLY thing that I’ve known that ever insured peace was having superior fire-power. 

Look at the pictures and compare the men (well, at least one of them is a man) and tell me which one is going to win in a hand-to-hand combat situation.

The pictures become not so humorous, but scary, huh?

Obama Claims 'I Don't Bluff' on Iran.

“The Israeli government recognizes that, as president of the United States,  I don't bluff. ... "

Uhhh... is this like the time Obimbo told Cantor, "Don't call my bluff." (Pro tip... don't tell people you're bluffing.) 

Obama’s Cabinet Does The Hokey Pokey.

The following is Lurita Doan’s column that was taken from today’s townhall.com. It’s in its entirety (with links, as it appeared) because it was just TOO GOOD to take bits and pieces from. The original didn’t have the cartoons. I added them to make it too, TOO GOOD.

Forget about Dancing with the Stars. If Americans want to see some really fancy footwork, just watch the senior members of the Obama Administration as they do the hokey pokey. The President is, perhaps, the greatest dancer of all as he constantly talks about his policy goals, waves it all about, only to take it all back as he turns himself around.  

In May 2009, Secretary Chu put his hands all over the Solyndra loan which he said would be a model for what the government creation of “green” jobs. Chu attended the ground breaking with President Obama and cited Solyndra’s example in his speeches. Yet, now, with Solyndra’s mind-boggling profligacy, squandering $523 million in taxpayer money in less than two years and filing for bankruptcy protection, both Chu and Obama are eager to take their hands off as they shake them all about, blaming anyone other than themselves for the poor loan decision and the complete lack of oversight into the expenditure of the funds.

And, it seems Cabinet Secretary Steven Chu has cravenly decided to utilize a time-tested delaying tactic of sending a lower-ranking staffer, Jonathan Silver, the DoE loan guarantee officer to testify as he turns himself around. 

Both the White House and the Department of Energy officials are being disingenuous and possibly duplicitous in their adamant denials of wrongdoing. For those who understand the process of approving, and scheduling presidential appearances, there can be no doubt that the White House was closely involved in the Solyndra deal-making. 

Each week, executive branch agencies send a report to the White House informing the president (in absentia) of current and upcoming agency actions of note. Each week, executive branch agencies also notify the White House of potential activities at which they are requesting the president’s attendance, usually an agency event that highlights some aspect of the president’s management agenda, and usually providing the White House with several months’ advance notice. 

Presidential visits are highly coveted events, highly desired by cabinet heads, because the president’s visit raises the profile of the agency and provides much coveted photo-ops for agency employees. 

There is usually a good deal of back and forth discussions between Executive agency staffers, the Executive Agency White House Liaison and White House staffers regarding the type of event, the timing of the event and the substance of the event to ensure it warrants an appearance by the president.

All the facts in the president’s speech are reviewed (for example, the details verifying a loan mentioned in the speech) and signed off on by as many as 15 agency officials and even folks from OMB before the event is entered formally as a part of the president’s calendar. So, the likelihood that neither the White House, nor the leaders of DoE, were in any way knowledgeable or involved in the Solyndra loan deal is highly unlikely.

Sadly, Solyndra is but a recent example of Obama’s Cabinet officials’ skill with doing the hokey pokey. The Justice Department’s disastrous Operation Fast & Furious reveals a similar scenario -- an ill conceived, poorly executed idea that was hastily put into operation. And yet, after providing some 1200 assault weapons to Mexican cartels, which are now showing up in crimes and murders of American citizens, Americans once again see the Obama Administration shaking their hands and turning themselves about as they run for cover. 

Then, there is the case of the SEC. What does it mean when Americans see Obama’s executive appointees at the SEC all hiring lawyers to represent themselves as evidence of gross conflicts of interest starts to pile up?

Of course, no one is quite as skilled at the hokey pokey as President Obama. A year ago, Obama promised support for Palestinian statehood, no doubt hoping he could take it back before anyone caught wise that he was just posturing. But predictably, the Palestinians did not fully understand Obama was just doing part of his dance, and we now face a diplomatic crisis that is costing American prestige.

President Obama has saved his best dance moves for the economic crisis. Obama tells us he is all about jobs, jobs, jobs, but then turns himself about trying to explain why his Administration has prevented Boeing from expanding operations in South Carolina, costing thousands of jobs in the process. Obama urges quick Senate approval of a set of Free Trade Agreements which everyone agrees would be beneficial, but, Obama never quite tells Americans that he will not approve any of the agreements unless the Congress approves yet another bailout of Unions. 

Other favorite Obama hokey pokey moves include his claim that the stimulus would create millions of jobs and shrink unemployment to 8%. So too, was the claim that Obamacare would allow everyone to keep the healthcare insurance they currently have. Those claims were quickly pulled back and the Administration worked hard at obscuring the facts as they, once again, turned themselves about.

Perhaps, my personal favorite hokey pokey move, is watching Obama talk about the need for “a balanced plan” that calls for “shared sacrifice” and a need for millionaires and billionaires to “pay their fair share”. This move calls for lots [of] unusually skillful gyrations as Obama tells us that his bash-the-rich strategy is not really a craven example of class warfare. Obama also maintains that massive deficits requiring $100 billion dollar a month in loans can all be sustained indefinitely, so there really is no need to cut the expansive entitlement spending. In fact, Obama tells us entitlements can, and should, be expanded.

I usually end my posts with, “So much incompetency, so little time.” I’m going to add ‘corruption’ to it from now on... the two words, incompetency and corruption, define Obimbo and his ‘administration’ SO WELL!

U.N. To Seize Jerusalem From Israel On July 26th.

I was a young Marine in Viet Nam and it was sometime around the 8th or 9th of June of 1967. My company was pulled out of the field, along with several others in the battalion, and we were put on standby to deploy to another country. All that I knew was, it had something to do with the Middle East and Israel. That was cool with me... less than two years in the Corps and I was going have TWO conflicts in my Service Record Book. My Combat History page was going to be looking REAL good!

We were squaring our gear away and getting ready to board ship when we got the word to stand down. Whaaaat?! The war had just started! It’s OVER already?!... The Israelis WON?!... And they didn’t need any help?! That was when we started using the phrase, “Man, you DO NOT wanna mess with the Children of God!”

It wasn’t until later that I learned just how outnumbered and out gunned the Israelis were... and how many countries they defeated to secure their freedom and way of life. That phrase we used has taken on a new and a real meaning for me. They were (and are) a country and people who have my deepest respect and admiration. And, just for the record, I happen to be Protestant.

Jimmy Carter gave us the stink hole that’s Iran. And now -- that nappy-headed, big eared, little nerd -- Obimbo wants Israel to revert back to the borders of 1967?

Here’s my thoughts on it, Obimbo -- when monkeys fly out my butt!

The United Nations Security Council has scheduled July 26th in New York, for open “debate” about whether or not they will seize Israeli land in September, and divide Jerusalem by establishing a Palestinian state, without negotiation or approval from Israel. 

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he feared a “surprise” move after the Quartet of the United Nations, EU, USA, and Russia met last Monday in DC, to endorse President Obama’s plan to enforce 1967 borders, and divide Jerusalem and seize Israeli land to form an independent Palestine, on either July 26th or in Sept. at the U.N. 

Haaretz newspaper reported Quartet members “are expected to release a statement endorsing U.S. President Barack Obama’s May 19 speech on the Middle East, which called for...the borders of a future state based on pre-1967 lines...” 

President Obama wrote in his book “I will stand with [Muslims] if the political winds shift in an ugly direction,” so I picture Obama siding with Palestinian President Abbas above, who said last week, “President Obama says he wants to see an independent Palestinian state by September.”

There’s speculation that Obimbo didn’t even write the books that he’s SUPPOSEDLY  written. How about Bill Ayers?! 

Only the U.N. Security Council can vote to recognize new nations, and move borders. It is composed of 15 member nations among which only 5 have veto authority:  USA, Britain, France, China, and Russia. 

The fact any debate will occur on 26 July confirms a big U.N. vote will occur in September, and if President Obama’s U.N. delegation fails to veto, Israel will forfeit half its land and Jerusalem will become the Muslim capitol of the new state of Palestine. 

President Obama has recently signaled that the U.S. may not veto such a land-grab, as Abbas said last week on Lebanese TV, quote: “President Obama says he wants to see an independent Palestinian state by September.”  No wonder Abbas met with PLO leaders and decided to seize the moment, and East Jerusalem with it. 

Israel would likely not recognize such a vote, and refuse to forfeit their land. Palestinians will declare independence and start a war in September, with the whole world against Israel. 

This confirms the likelihood Obama will direct America’s U.N. representatives to NOT VETO the upcoming U.N. vote to seize Israeli land and establish an independent Palestine state, without any concern or negotiation for Israeli sovereignty. 

If Obama does not veto this, it would immediately cause a violent war against Israel. 

Abbas, who claims 116 of the 195 member states of the UN General Assembly are willing to recognize a Palestinian state, has stressed that his government would go through with the declaration if negotiations with Israel remain deadlocked. Israel hopes for 30 nations against, but America is the only among them who could veto the U.N. land grab. 

Haaretz newspaper in Israel reported President Obama had privately given a 30-day ultimatum to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to either forfeit their land and revert to Obama’s 1967 border plan, or face punishment by the United Nations. A U.N. vote to recognize Palestine (and seize Israeli land) is scheduled for September, which could be vetoed by the United States, but Obama’s recent actions cast doubt upon whether the U.S. will veto any U.N. land-grab. 

In other words, Obama issued an implied threat to destroy Israel, by endorsing the U.N. plan to seize her land, unless Netanyahu commits national suicide by returning to the 1967 borders (just nine miles wide in spots) which are militarily indefensible. 

Netanyahu voiced his “vehement objection to starting peace talks on the basis of the 1967 lines, which he called ‘indefensible’ in both the Knesset and the U.S. Congress,” said Haaretz. Netanyahu is conservative, but without American help he stands alone in trying to preserve, not only Israel’s current borders, but their right to exist. 

Bottom line:  Without the USA’s veto of the U.N. plan, Israel will soon cease to exist as a nation.

Netanyahu has said, “Israel is what is right about the Middle East.” Israel is free. Israel is a Democracy. And, Israel is surrounded by tyrants and oppressive governments -- governments and people that can’t even get along with themselves.

Israel is also why America can go to bed and sleep peacefully at night. It’s Israel that’s OUR protector. Israel stands as a thorn in the side of the tyrants and oppressive governments that would chop her head off. Until these tyrants and oppressive governments can annihilate Israel, they know they can’t be perceived, by the rest of the world, as the really “bad boys on the block” when they can’t even bring down one tiny nation that they’ve been fighting for a couple of thousand of years.

It’s pretty telling that, just like in 1967, Israel isn’t asking for our war machines. Netanyahu has said in his speech that he doesn’t need that. Israel can protect itself. All that the Israelis ask for is that America stand strong with them. THEY are our strongest ally.

We need to choose our friends wisely. America SHOULD ALWAYS support Israel. 

And, Obimbo, as far as you’re concerned -- when monkeys fly out my butt!

Now I've REALLY Got This Sinking Sensation.

Maybe I won't be so enthralled to lend my tactical support to the Children of God after all.

President Barack Obama’s recent speech calling on Israel to accept the country’s 1967 borders as a starting point for talks with the Palestinians has raised speculation that Jewish voters could turn against Obama and the Democrats in 2012.

But such a scenario “is not very realistic for at least three reasons,” according to Alan I. Abramowitz, senior columnist for the Crystal Ball website of Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics. 

First of all, political opponents — in particular, Hillary Clinton’s campaign — questioned Obama’s commitment to Israel in 2008. But Jewish voters still supported Obama in the general election at about the same rate they had supported other Democratic presidential candidates in recent elections.One poll showed that 78 percent of Jewish voters cast their ballots for Obama over John McCain. 

Secondly, Jewish loyalty to the Democrats is based largely on the liberal views of most Jews on domestic policy issues, Abramowitz asserts.Between 1992 and 2008, 82 percent of Jewish voters interviewed in several surveys said they leaned toward the Democratic Party, compared to just 43 percent of all other white voters. 

Jewish voters “hold solidly liberal views on a wide range of domestic policy issues, and especially on social issues such as abortion, that have undermined support for the Democratic Party among some of its traditional supporters,” Abramowitz writes. 

Thirdly, the rightward tack of the Republican Party in recent years has made a significant shift of Jewish voters into the GOP camp highly unlikely.Moderate-to-liberal Republicans including Nelson Rockefeller in New York and Edward Brooke in Massachusetts regularly won a large share of the Jewish vote, but in today’s GOP “there are almost no liberals or moderates,” Abramowitz observes. 

He concludes: “There is almost no chance that the ultimate victor in the Republican nomination contest will be able to significantly increase the GOP share of the Jewish vote beyond the relatively small minority of conservative Jews who have been voting for Republican candidates in recent years.
