What's So Hard To Understand About NO COMPROMISE?!

Ever since “Boner” became Speaker, he’s given it away. We can be so close to what we want and he can ALWAYS manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. As in the article below, there have been times when no compromise was even necessary -- when it was going our way -- yet, he’ll STILL find a way to compromise.

Just ONE example is when he didn’t stand strong on his demands for the debt ceiling with Obimbo. That’s when Obimbo was given the full deck of cards to create the “Super Committee.” That worked out really well, didn’t it?

Is this just what cry-babies do? Or, maybe, 20 years in the House with Queen Pelosi has something to do with it. Come to think of it, I’d go around crying all the time, too, if I had to think about being around Pelosi... PERIOD!

Like I've said before, I'll vote Republican. But I'm going to focus more on the House and Senate races so that, hopefully, we’re not completely screwed, down-ballot, later on. 

Boehner Sabotaging Fast and Furious Probe?

From The Patriot Update -- Rumors abound this week of secret negotiations, backdoor meetings and veiled threats aimed at halting Rep. Issa’s investigation of the Fast and Furious scandal. Regretfully, such rumors are all too credible given Speaker Boehner’s history of always seeking a compromise even when victory is in sight. 

What’s going on here? Every time Issa’s committee holds a public hearing, new evidence comes to light. Why should the investigation be aborted? Why would Republicans want the investigation halted? What possible “deal” could the White House offer to Boehner to persuade him to end the investigation? The only compromise Republicans in Congress should accept in the case of Attorney General Holder is his early resignation instead of impeachment and removal. 

The reported “deal” Boehner and Holder are discussing would let higher ups in the Department of Justice off the hook if they prosecute one or two individual ATF supervisors. Holder would then claim he “cleaned up the mess” and be free from any moral or political culpability. How does that sound, folks? 

Rep. Issa must persevere in his investigation and seek the truth no matter where it leads. As for Speaker Boehner, if he has a problem with this, he should go into the hospital for a backbone transplant.

Maybe “Boner” needs to spend a little less time on the tanning bed and more time at the gym trying to build up that backbone.

And, maybe, the name “Boner” doesn’t fit him after all; he sure doesn’t have one up his back.

There’s a Web site that has a contest where contestants use Photoshop to build a picture on a theme that the Web site selects. One of the themes was to build a picture that says “Goodbye to Nancy Pelosi” after she was no longer Speaker of the House. 

The only thing the contestants were given was this picture to work with.

By the way -- since Nancy Pelosi is no longer Speaker of the House, she's had to give up her private jet. This means she’ll be flying Southwest from now on because “Bags Fly Free.”

Now -- let your mind run wild. I’ve gotta go wash my eyes out with bleach.

Lt. Col. West Tells Obama, Reid And Pelosi Where To Go!

At a Lincoln Day Dinner in West Palm Beach, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Rep. Allen West said what I’ve been thinking for a long time:

“We need to let President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and my dear friend the chairman of the Democrat National Committee, we need to let them know that Florida ain’t on the table. Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America!”

The above quote starts at marker 10:20, but the whole speech is outstanding. 



On another note, at marker 9:17, Rep. West begins talking about the cutbacks in military. Frankly, I’m all for cutting back on the Marine Corps (maybe not to WWI levels as Rep. West mentions, though!) I mean, what else is new? Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. We’ve been doing that for a loooong time. By cutting back on the Marine Corps, I believe we’ve guaranteed our survival. The United States doesn’t need, and won’t have, TWO armies. 

The Marine Corps NEEDS to go back to our original task of being an Expeditionary Force. Leave the winning of hearts and minds and the building of schools and libraries to someone else. 

The Marine Corps NEEDS to go back to being lean, mean and green... kicking ass and NOT taking names.

The Marine Corps NEEDS to be able to turn it over to the Army, getting the hell out and going on to the next target.

The Marine Corps NEEDS to go back to being Mother Green.

President Barack Obama** The Chief Idiot of the United States is not the only VIP to be spending his holidays in exclusive islands in Hawaii. 

While the president and his family are on a 17-day holiday vacation in beach front homes in Kailua, Oahu, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is spending her Christmas at the exotic Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka'upulehu in Kona, reports the Hawaii Reporter. 

The California Democrat's suite, which she has rented for the past two Christmases, room goes for a whopping $10,000 a night. Pelosi has been escorted by local police during her two visits, at a cost of $34,000 to local taxpayers, the Reporter says. 

Obama’s trip to the island of Oahu is much higher. Last week, the Reporter added up the total cost of his vacation to be more than $4 million.

I guess we could put things into perspective, though -- $4 million, next to our national debt that the Chief Idiot of the United States has run up, is like pissin' in the ocean.
