Outta The Mouths Of Babes...

President Obama goes to a primary school to talk to the kids. After his talk, he offers question time.
One little boy puts up his hand and Obama asks him his name.
“ Walter,” responds the little boy.
“And what is your question, Walter?”
“I have four questions. First, why did the United States bomb Libya without the support of the Congress?”
Second, why do you keep saying you fixed the economy when it’s actually gotten worse?”
Third, why did you say that Jeremiah Wright was your mentor, then said that you knew nothing about his preaching and beliefs?”
Fourth, why are we lending money to Brazil to drill for oil, but America is not allowed to drill for oil?”
Just then, the bell rings for recess.
Obama informs the kiddies that they will continue after recess.
When they resume Obama says, “OK, where were we? Oh, that’s right -- question time. Who has a question?”
Another little boy puts up his hand. Obama points him out and asks him his name.
“Steve,” he responds.
“And what is your question, Steve?”
Actually, I have two questions.  First, why did the recess bell ring 20 minutes early?”
Second, what the fuck happened to Walter?”

    1. It'd be a whole lot more funnier if there wasn't so much truth to it, huh, AA?

  3. I'm guessing Walter and Ambassador Stevens suffered a similar fate.

    1. There's bound to be a body count out there -- somewhere -- on Down Low Barry's 'Walters.' I'll give odds that they FAR EXCEED those of JFK's death and the under the table deals (no pun intended) of Billy Bob 'Oops, My Pants Are Still Unzipped' Clinton.

    1. Dear Abby,

So much for the verse,"...and the truth shall set you free."

    2. It's "And the truth shall make you flee" (Proverbs 28:1).

      Signed,
      "Sh! I hear drones!"

    3. Dear Abby,

      Hmmm...

My Bible (King James Version) has Proverbs 28:1 as being, "The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion." And it's pretty much the same in all versions of the Bible... even your LDS.

The full verse (also from the KJV) of what I was quoting is, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you FREE (my emphasis added)” -- John 8:32

Again, it's pretty much the same in all versions of the Bible... even your LDS.

      Signed,
      Hmmm...

  6. Yes - I was making fun of him saying that the wicked flee when no one pursueth - from the truth. LDS use the KJV.

    2. my wife laughed and said "If you're reading the King James Version, then you're reading the Mormon Bible" (She's teasing of course) - LDS believe the bible to be the Word of God so far as it is translated correctly (And there's umpteen thousand translations so I don't see how too many people could be upset with that) but Christ Himself was better at playing with the words of the scriptures to confound the learned than any other in there. I am but a novice in this regards but definitely admired His skill. I am only beginning to see the genius of His responses and parables - though lately as applied to Obama and the Democrats and every evil communist, I am particularly fond of His response to Pilate in John 19:11 and I apply it in general to Obama and all the rest of them - tie it in with Revelation 17:12 (And Ecclesiastes 3:1) - and am reminded of Matthew 8:29 all reminding me that God has appointed seasons and times for certain things - but they will not be forever, and if anything, all that is going on are only a witness that these things are drawing to a frightful crescendo but it will be their close, their last act and a new world awaits to be born right around the corner. We're ready! Keep telling the truth and keep the fires of freedom lit! Hooyah!
