GOOD FOR YOU, AOW! Proud of ya and hope ya got thru to some of those minds. They probably don't even know what 9/11 is (except it's a number you dial if you're in trouble -- because when seconds count, help is only moments away.)
How could anyone expect young people to know what 9/11 was about? We've already forgotten Benghazi.
M4E, I'd say you got it figured. We asked our server about it the other day. Conservative girl too! 30-something. She asked ? Ben Ghazi? ? shaking her head back and forth. we edumacated her.
Side note: My granddaughter was in 1st grade on 11 Sept 2001. The next day, in her classroom at elementary school, the teacher was trying to ease the children by letting them talk about it. As young as the children were, they were aware that a horrific incident had occurred. The teacher would call on various students to tell how they and their parents had spent the previous night.
Some told how they had cried with their parents and brothers and sisters.
Some told how their parents tried to explain what had happened.
Some told of how their parents were laughing and singing and had invited their friends over and that they had a party.
My daughter said she had learned that ALL those parents that were in a partying mood had gotten a visit by agents from the FBI.
After doing a lot of soul-searching, my thinking is that a 'moderate' Moslem would be one who advocates beheading as a last resort.
And we're having discussions on how to be politically correct with these people who want our heads on a pole?!
Enema (and anyone like her/him/it) has 364 days out of the year to stick up their Leftest, Communistic, Marxist, Iz(all pork)salami, Mohammedan, Socialist crap -- 11 September is not one of 'em.
