What's So Hard To Understand About NO COMPROMISE?!

Ever since “Boner” became Speaker, he’s given it away. We can be so close to what we want and he can ALWAYS manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. As in the article below, there have been times when no compromise was even necessary -- when it was going our way -- yet, he’ll STILL find a way to compromise.

Just ONE example is when he didn’t stand strong on his demands for the debt ceiling with Obimbo. That’s when Obimbo was given the full deck of cards to create the “Super Committee.” That worked out really well, didn’t it?

Is this just what cry-babies do? Or, maybe, 20 years in the House with Queen Pelosi has something to do with it. Come to think of it, I’d go around crying all the time, too, if I had to think about being around Pelosi... PERIOD!

Like I've said before, I'll vote Republican. But I'm going to focus more on the House and Senate races so that, hopefully,
we’re not completely screwed, down-ballot, later on.

Boehner Sabotaging Fast and Furious Probe?

From The Patriot Update -- Rumors abound this week of secret negotiations, backdoor meetings and veiled threats aimed at halting Rep. Issa’s investigation of the Fast and Furious scandal. Regretfully, such rumors are all too credible given Speaker Boehner’s history of always seeking a compromise even when victory is in sight.
What’s going on here? Every time Issa’s committee holds a public hearing, new evidence comes to light. Why should the investigation be aborted? Why would Republicans want the investigation halted? What possible “deal” could the White House offer to Boehner to persuade him to end the investigation? The only compromise Republicans in Congress should accept in the case of Attorney General Holder is his early resignation instead of impeachment and removal.
The reported “deal” Boehner and Holder are discussing would let higher ups in the Department of Justice off the hook if they prosecute one or two individual ATF supervisors. Holder would then claim he “cleaned up the mess” and be free from any moral or political culpability. How does that sound, folks?
Rep. Issa must persevere in his investigation and seek the truth no matter where it leads. As for Speaker Boehner, if he has a problem with this, he should go into the hospital for a backbone transplant.
Maybe “Boner” needs to spend a little less time on the tanning bed and more time at the gym trying to build up that backbone.

And, maybe, the name “Boner” doesn’t fit him after all; he sure doesn’t have one up his back.

Vote For ME!

Why the hell NOT?! (I think I'll use this as my new campaign slogan. Catchy, huh?!)

I’ve probably got about as much sense, and
I can be just as big a grease ball, as the rest of the politicians. AND, I have a better platform... NOTHING.

I’m not going to lie and tell you stuff that you want to hear -- THEN, when I get into office, make a killing off of you. Straight out... if I get elected, it's gonna be ALL about ME.

I've even made you up a bumper sticker (below) that you can use. Just cut it out and slap it on that 4x4 and you’re good to go! (With apologies to Rick Santorum. Sorry, Rick.

Nothing personal, it's just politics.)

Why reinvent the wheel?

See... I’ve saved you money already!

While we’re talking about money, send me any cash you can. It’ll help support my Dr Pepper habit and put diesel in my truck. I take all the major cards (or, whatever else you've got) -- but, I’d rather have cash. Cash is easier to hide from the IRS.

No campaign is complete unless you diss the other guys. And Obimbo is soooo EASY to diss. AND I've already sent this to his "Attack Watch" site (joke of the Internet -- if it's still even up -- bwah-hahahahaha!) so that he and Homeland Security can keep up-to-date with what I'm doing.

While you’re at it, check out the Democrats/Obimbo new info site.

Okay. So, here’s the official disclaimer and stuff you've got to have at the bottom so that it makes it look legit:

Smile... Things Could Be Worse.

So I did.

Sure enough, things got worse.

20% Of Republicans Leaning To Obama!
For critics of Barack Obama, 2012 has been portrayed as a do-or-die year for the country -- an election that will determine whether America stays on the road to European-style socialism or veers right to reclaim its positions as the most vibrant economy in the world and the home of individual liberty.

But the 2012 election is looking more like a replay of 2008 than a do-over.

If you really want to torture yourself, you can read the rest of it here.

I’ve gotta go lie down for awhile.

You Can Be Really Creative...

...If You Don’t Toss Your Cookies While Having To Work With The Subject Matter.

There’s a Web site that has a contest where contestants use Photoshop to build a picture on a theme that the Web site selects. One of the themes was to build a picture that says “Goodbye to Nancy Pelosi” after she was no longer Speaker of the House.

The only thing the contestants were given was this picture to work with.

Yep, that's pretty scary, huh?!

This was the winning entry!

By the way -- since Nancy Pelosi is no longer Speaker of the House, she's had to give up her private jet. This means she’ll be flying Southwest from now on because “Bags Fly Free.”

Here’s another gross one... belcho... and I can pretty well tell you that this WAS NOT done in Photoshop; remember who we’re talking about.

Now -- let your mind run wild. I’ve gotta go wash my eyes out with bleach.

Obimbo Loves Ya, Mitten...

Just Keep Diggin That Hole!

On Wednesday, February 1st, Erick Erickson of Red State said it best: “It is days like today that make me thankful I think they all suck. At least I’m thankful I’m in the firmly not Romney camp.”

Erickson went on to say:
Having told us only Romney was viable (with half-nods to Huntsman and Santorum) and having trotted out Elliot Abrams to smear Newt Gingrich with out of context quotes, even National Review is having trouble defending their candidate today.
This morning Mitt Romney said he wasn’t concerned about the poor. The poor, after all, have food stamps and Medicaid. But don’t worry. If the safety net is broken, Patrician Mitt Romney will fix it so the poor can stay comfortably poor. After all, just look what he did in Massachusetts. The poor can now wait 44 days to get in to see a doctor. Excelsior!
After making sure we all understood the poor were for the Democrats to be worried about, Romney decided to keep digging his hole even bigger. By the end of the day, Jim DeMint had to rebuke him.
Romney, digging his hole deeper, said his remark needed more context. The context, according to Romney, is that we have government programs to keep the poor . . . well . . . poor but comfortable:
We do have a very ample safety net in America, with Medicaid, housing vouchers, food stamps, earned income tax credit. We have a number of ways of helping the poor. And yet my focus and the area that I think is the greatest challenge that the country faces right now is not, is not to focus our effort on how we help the poor as much as to focus our effort on how to help the middle class in America.
Oh, but that’s not all. If you misunderstood patrician Mitt Romney, he trotted out the other New England patrician, John Sununu -- the man who advised George H. W. Bush to go with David Souter -- to dig the hole even deeper. Sununu told the National Review that their candidate has no intention of changing policies to those that might actually lift the poor out of poverty into the middle class.
“He was saying that we do not need to change policies for them. Same goes for the super-rich, who are fine. It’s the middle class; they’re the ones we need to be aggressive in helping. They’re the ones who’ve taken the brunt of the bad Obama policies of the past three years.”
Note the use of “they’re” in talking about the middle class. They have been hurt most. Not the poor. Not the rich. So much for the GOP condemning class warfare. Romney’s folks are going with it too. Where Obama goes for “fair shares”, Romney wants to focus only on those hurt “most.”
But the coup de grace came late today when, to mitigate the damage, Romney reminded everyone he supports automatic hikes in the minimum wage -- a truly conservative position.
The National Review sure does know how to pick them. Glad they’ll be defending him in the general. I’m not sure I’ll waste my time.
Erickson summed it up for me:  “Sure, I’ll vote for him. But I think I’ll focus on House and Senate races so when the buyers remorse sets in on those who backed Romney we’re not completely screwed down ballot.”
